Linda and Mike… A Family Affair

Last Sunday Linda and Mike tied the knot in a very intimate and unique ceremony that was held in their backyard. They shared their day with all their closest family members as well as their K9 friends. This wedding was so beautiful and heartfelt… it was perfect. It was a joyous day for everyone and even a few happy tears were shed. I really love how everyone was incorporated and it really was a family affair. They are all so close and you can see the bond that they all share. It really is moving. Congratulations Linda and Mike and thank you for letting me be a part of such a special day.

Nicole and Ian at The Cree Estate

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Ian and Nicole’s wedding at The Cree Estate in Cathedral City. This is the perfect place to hold a wedding. It consists of a main house and two guest houses with two pools and two jacuzzis. Their guests were able to come for the whole weekend and stay and never have to leave the pad. Awesome! The ceremony was held on the lawn by the tennis court and then the reception was moved over to the front of the property nestled amongst the palm trees. It was amazing! After the ceremony we were able to go around the property for a bit and grab a few fun shots with the two of them. They are so cute together! They really made my job easy. Congratulations you two!

Annalou and Don at CBS Studios “Red Carpet Style”

Last weekend I shot one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever been to. Annalou and Don, who finally decided to tie the knot after 15 years of dating got married at St. Euphrasia in Granada Hills. It was such a beautiful ceremony with all their close friends and family present. After the ceremony everyone went to CBS Studios where the reception was held. That’s right! Right on the lot, on a set, of CBS Studios. It was so unique. The tables were set throughout a street that looked like something out of Desperate Housewives… cute little houses and picket fences. And just around the corner was a faux New York City street… really just tons of cool stuff. And Annalou and Don spared no expense on entertainment. The reception consisted of a live band, a DJ, lion dancers, Polynesian dancers, and her family and friends creating conga lines and dance circles. It was so important to Annalou and Don that everyone had a good time… I don’t think they have to worry about that… mission accomplished! High five you two on a successful throw down and congratulations on your marriage.

Erica and Uri

On Saturday I photographed my good friend Uri’s wedding. Him and Erica exchanged vows at a beautiful church, St. Augustine in Culver City. Afterwards we took a few fun shots by the beach in Santa Monica and then it was off to the Marina Club for the reception. Uri and Erica were just so happy the whole day. They’re such a sweet and cute couple. I wish them all the best in their future together. Congratulations you two!

A Valentine’s Day Wedding

Last weekend I photographed Kira and Aaron’s wedding on none other that Valentines Day. It was such a beautiful wedding. It was held on the rooftop terrace of the Reef in Long Beach just as the sun was setting. Kira looked amazing in her gown and the wedding party was decked out in black and red to honor the special day. After the ceremony we got to take a few pics on the terrace right at dusk. Long Beach is just gorgeous at this time of day. And so were Kira and Aaron… they’re so cute together!

Laura and Loren at the MOCA

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Loren’s wedding at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. This is such a cool place to get married. We were able to use the sculpture garden as well as the breathtaking beach views for photos. They held their ceremony in the auditorium which made it very special and unique. These two are both musicians and even had a special piano performance during their I do’s. What a cool way to tie the knot. And Laura and Loren are so incredibly in love with each other. They were a breeze to photograph… kissing and hugging all day. What a wonderful couple! Congratulations you two.

Lissette and Ted

On Saturday I photographed Lissette and Ted’s wedding in Hacienda Heights. Lissette got ready at her parents’ house which was so wonderful. She had her whole family there to help her and there were even a few pre-ceremony tears shed over how beautiful she looked. Once at the ceremony a gorgeous mass was performed that also included their family and friends with readings and song. Afterwards, we had a little time to get some fun shots of the two of them around the church. They made my job easy because they were all smiles and so obviously crazy about each other. Then it was off to the reception which was held at The Westridge Golf Club in La Habra. It was a throw down party with Mariachi’s, a DJ, and a live band. Now these two know how to have a good time. Congratulations!

Leslie and Damon’s Wedding

On Saturday I met up with Leslie and Damon in Burbank to photograph their wedding. Leslie got ready at the Holiday Inn in Burbank and looked so beautiful. She was absolutely glowing when I arrived… She was gorgeous! For photos, Leslie and Damon decided to see each other before the ceremony so we were able to get a lot of fun shots in the courtyard at the hotel. We had lots of lush greenery and amazing light to play with. Afterwards we headed to the First Christian Church of Burbank for the ceremony. The ceremony was dimly lit with accents of candle light… it was breathtaking. And these two exchanged some of the sweetest vows I’ve ever heard… just so sweet. Then it was time to move on to the reception which was held at La Canada Flintridge Country Club. This place has 180 degree view of the valley below that’s spectacular. It was the perfect place for a throw down night. And that’s exactly what everyone did… What a great party! Congratulations you two and aloha!

Amy and Ryan in Santa Barbara

On Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting Amy, Ryan and their super fun family and friends in Santa Barbara at the Doubletree to photograph their wedding. The wedding was intimate with only their closest friends and family, many of whom flew in from New York. The ceremony was held right on the beach and couldn’t have been more picturesque with the white sand, blue sky and stunning couple. The ceremony was one of the sweetest I’ve seen. It was full of laughter and tears and more laughter. I thought it was so touching that Amy and Ryan each wrote letters to one another to be read during the ceremony. Afterwards we headed to the reception. And don’t let the intimacy of this wedding fool you… this crowd knows how to throw down, and that they did. I’m telling you, I was impressed. There were a few party machines there… non stop I tell you. I had such a great time! Congratulations you two!

Jocelyn and Paul at Westlake Village Inn

On Sunday I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of two good friends of mine, Jocelyn and Paul. The said their I do’s at Westlake Village Inn which is a beautiful spot for such a special occasion. Jocelyn and Paul both looked stunning and brought their usual comedic style to the day. Not only was the day full of heartfelt and sincere moments but it was also filled with many laughs. These two are a perfect match and I was so honored to have been able to share in their special day. I’d wish them both luck but I know they don’t need it. Congratulations you two!
